  1. I meant to say my posts as well. It appears that nobody has viewed them. Strange!
  2. Just on the 6pm news. O J Simpson has died! Why headline news, I don't know.
  3. I've just noticed that with my adverts, and every other one's, There's '0' on who has viewed them. Some have replies. Is this the norm?
  4. https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/443721-dummy-launcher-wanted-please-send-pm-thanks/
  5. I've been tempted to buy one many times, and will probably get one this year.
  6. A mate of mine uses a large fishing umbrella, and drapes camo' netting over it.
  7. You would lose some clarity, and more, if your windows are dirty.
  8. I'm selling my original Solaris SRX ir torch. This is in excellent condition and has the adjustable power switch fitted. It comes in it's original metal box but the only thing missing is the USB charger lead. This needs a 18650 battery (not included) and the adjustable scope mount is also not included in the sale. £95:00 Price will include signed for postage.
  9. I'm selling the above, which has been in storage (my attic) for the past 33 years. I bought it new back in 1985 to show the cine films I made of my young daughter (now aged 40!) It's in very good condition, with only a few scuff marks etc, and comes with a new lead and a few reels/spools. The original box has seen better days but I'll include that. Due to it's weight, I would prefer it to be collected, but could post at cost, or meet within a reasonable distance to RCT (CF39 Mid Glamorgan) Price: £60:00
  10. I will do. Thanks for the recipe.
  11. Let's have the recipe, Lloyd.
  12. Likewise. I've had many IR torches etc and have always had great service from him.
  13. Do you know anyone else in your area who does shooting in any form? I'm sure that someone would fit the cabinet for you. If I lived nearer, I would do it for you. I've fitted 4 different ones in my home and quite a few more for other's.
  14. I purchased the above night vision add on approx 3 years ago, and recently, it started to 'play up'. I contacted Andy, from Ludicrous Lumens who told me to send it to him so he could check it out. I posted in (next day/signed for) which cost £8:65 (due to the value of the item) and Andy has now repaired it, and its ready to be returned (I have to pay £12:00 postage) but I'm happy with that. It's cost me under £21:00 to get it repaired (free of charge) My thanks to Andy for an excellent service, as usual.
  15. I've got two micro SD cards that have UK and USA calls on them. It would be good if I can get them copied onto one SD card and then use it in the Icotec.
  16. I remember a mate of mine telling me this, many years ago. First of all, he wasn't 'keen' on the dark, but did venture out on his own, after foxes. He made his own sounds by squeaking a balloon (letting air out slowly and squeezing the neck) and taping it on an old tape recorder. He put it down in the field, and it was squeaking away merrily. After a while, and with nothing showing, he decided to move it to somewhere else. As he was walking down to the tape recorder (in the dark) and as he was near to it, all of a sudden he heard men talking. He absolutely crapped himself, and it was only afterwards that he realised that the tape had automatically switched to the other side, and was playing something else!
  17. Thanks anyway. I used to make my own .38 Special bullets + .357 Magnum. I've got quite a few of these bullets left which I offered for free, but no takers, so I thought I would advertise them just as lead.
  18. Is there anyone on here that makes their own fishing weights etc? I have some bits of lead that I don't need and you would be welcome to them. All I ask is the postage to be paid, which wouldn't cost a lot.

  20. Neither did I, Steve, this was shown on Facebook, with a few others.
  21. I don't know if some of you (I wasn't) are aware of the above, but I tried it and it's good. Just press the 'Windows' key and 'R' the same time. A search box will show and then you type in MRT 'enter'. It then searches your files extra for anything malicious. A full scan could take a few hours, so I just did a quick scan. There wasn't anything found.
  22. The third one in the photo is exactly the same as the one I've got.
  23. Some, even in not good condition, are selling for £15-£25!
  24. I totally disagree with what you said about the sounds not resembling anything natural. My first remote control caller was a Foxpro Spitfire. It came with American calls, which did work over here, but I then had UK calls put on it and they were excellent. In particular, the Fox calls (mating, calling, etc) by both dog and vixen worked brilliantly, as did all the rabbit/rodent calls. These were excellent when young fox cubs were wandering/exploring their surroundings. I have also had great results by using hand/mouth calls, both purchased and homemade. One, that was very good, was when I made my own, using two lollypop sticks with a thin piece of plastic sandwiched between them. By using various plastic materials, and different thicknesses, they produced various sounds. A good material to use was video tape, which worked very well. But, at the end of the day, it's how you use the different callers that matters. With my remote one, I used to alter the volume/time between the calls. And, all the foxes that came into my remote/hand callers, didn't get educated to them. Good luck to everyone, no matter what you use.
