get yourself a crimping die. Also a Kinetic bullet puller or the Hornady Cam Lock puller ( a better option and it will fit the Lee press) there is always something extra you can add on as time progresses I use Hodgden H380 powder with 70 grain heads. It's a good smooth flowing powder but there are many other good ones out there as well.

If it's sounding noisy, it could be a sign of damage being caused. I had one a few years ago that was noisy, and lasted 7 months. I had it replaced for a 'better one' as the company told me. If your's is not under guarantee, you could drill the rivets out and take a look inside. I don't think the noise will affect the birds coming in to it, because if they get that close, they should be close enough to shoot.

Thanks Bob. Which way does the collet fit. does it go with the 'slots' facing down to the case or the other way? EDIT. I think I've sussed it out. Will practice with a few inert rounds on the weekend. Thanks again Bob. -
Anyone use the above? I just bought one to add onto my Lee press. Not quite sure how to use it. Instructions are vague.

That's what I thought about the rabbit. Looked like to me he had an ingrowing toenail. He had a slight limp and was obviously suffering!

I should have used my mates 300 Winchester Magnum. Just to make sure

My gun went off accidently officer It was such a tragedy that the poor defenceless rabbit was in the direct line of the flight of the bullet :

I shot a woodpigeon feeding at about 30 yards once with a 223. Snowstorm is right

I always gut them straight away. Easier and lighter to carry. You can always skin them later. Don't forget to remove the urine from the rabbit before you gut it.

As mentioned by Codling99 above, I have a 6 shot FAC shotgun. It states on my ticket that it can only be used for crop protection. As I have an 'open' ticket, I can take it on any land where I have permission and where suitable. The conditions as to where you can use the shotgun will be under the conditions of your FAC ticket. It cannot be used as per a normal shotgun certificate. Check the conditions on your ticket.

Went out last night to zero the Tikka T3 Lite 308 that I bought last week. Got it 1 inch high at 100 yards after 8 shots. Went looking for a nice Roebuck after that, or even a fox, but nothing On the way back to the car, there was a nice rabbit at approx 80 yards, so I decided to christen the rifle on him/her. A nice shot, virtually no rabbit left. I was pleased but the rabbit was a bit miffed
