  1. 1 rabbit or 100, as long as you enjoyed it.
  2. When I had my 1st shotgun certificate (36 years ago) it took 1 week. Picked up form in local police station, filled it in, told them I was shooting on farm land and waste ground. No problems. MY firearm cert' took 6 days when I applied (1983) Ever since, I have had good results from Bridgend Police (Headquarters) regarding 1-1 variations, adding extra firearms etc.
  3. The press with the kit is a single turret one which is okay if you are loading small quantities. But a 3 or 4 hole turret press is faster and a lot less bother. I'm going to change mine soon. Just looked in Gunmart magazine and Sportsman Gun Centre are selling the 4 hole turret kit for £98.99.
  4. As above. Brand new clip, not used. £11.50 inc pp SOLD to Scot the Sniper pending usual.
  5. I bought the Lee anniversary kit. Nearly everything you need except the dies. You can add extra stuff as you go along. I have loaded many hundreds of different caliber rounds with my kit and have not experienced any problems at all.
  6. I just got a load of horse hoof clippings and boiled them up on a camping stove. I put the liquid in two bottles to ferment. Been there for about 3 months now and really stinks. Have'nt tried it out in the field yet though.
  7. Mark is a good mate. Honest as the day is long.

  8. The law is totally stupid. Different police forces seem fit to add their own conditions.
  9. It depends on what you want. I only use the breast meat so I pluck all the pigeons in the field then cut off the breast meat. Saves carrying them home and getting feathers everywhere.
  10. I went down there on Thursday. As mentioned before, a lot of the stuff was not priced or labelled up. No makes on most of the gun sale tickets. Some of the old staff were there and they were polite (as they were when it was Litts) I bought a few bits and pieces just for the sake of it. Going to arrange a trip down to Sportsman Exeter again soon ( An excellent shop)
  11. What size scope mounts are you after Bob. I may have some laying around. Can't promise, but will have a look. Steve
  12. You could always bait a certain part of the area with dog/cat food and lay in wait to try and see them.
  13. Bob is a very friendly guy. I only wish that he lived nearer so we could go lamping etc together.

  14. No requirements that I know of. I load all my rounds in my shed. and for safety's sake, I lock up all the powder.
  15. Nice read and well shot (eventually!)
  16. I'm on my second pair of Hi Tec Magnum boots. I wore the first pair while trekking to base camp on Everest. They are superb and retail around £85
  17. Ex military hard cases can also be bought from surplusandadventure.co.uk
  18. I bought a matchgrade hammer and springs for www.cheapgunparts.com with no problem of them being sent to me. The site is worth a look if only to get the instructions for repairing/modifying the rifle.
  19. I got 14 the first time and 15 the second time. Stupid quiz anyway
  20. Try www. cheapgunparts.com (America) They are a dedicated website for the Ruger 10/22. I have purchased many bits for my Ruger. They also have 'how to do' pages which show you everything about stripping the rifle down etc.
