i used a mates 101 sporter on sunday ,28" barrel with external multi-chokes , i must say i really liked it .

hes had it from new and said he'd never sell , a really solid gun

first time i,ve shot one , very impressed

the wife currently owns a 2002 2.2 tdi olympus lwb , very impressed with it on and off road .

really good on diesel , loads of space , comfy car etc etc .

some parts say isuzu on them but dont know where the engine is from.

 

i currently own a 3.0 trooper which i think is slightly better off road , but no where as good on diesel

chaps - i,ve just had a new windscreen fitted in my trooper by AA autowindshields for its MOT .
This was only done last weds, less than a week ago and already its cracked .

i,ve only used the car a half dozen times and its defo not a stone chip , just a crack in the left corner coming out the left side trim and going over the tax disc and downwards towards the wipers, must be about 6/8 inchs and growing .

to anyone who may know , what is likely to have caused this .

for sale is my discovery 300tdi 1996 N plate

Auto box , 7 seater , freestyle alloys , sunroof , driver and passaenger air bags , LR bull bar etc

its biritz blue in colour , 200,000 miles , very good engine and gearbox ,

good to average condition for year .

recently its had :-

new battery

oil and filter , air filter , diesel filter change

new alternator

new brakes all round

new water pump

new intercooler pipes

EGR blanking kit fitted

half new exhaust

new rear arches

both track rod ends for last MOT

we have had it for 7 years and shes been a brill motor , only faults are heaters work but blow cold air only ( could do with a new or repair matrix ) one hinge pin in back door as broken ( pin only ) still opens and works fine and last month the drivers door window slipped on the runner , broken a rivit on the arm , so i,ve just bought all the brand new parts - regulator , glass channel and rubbers etc from paddocks , door motor is working fine , but not had chance to do it.

tax just run out , Mot oct 2013 , 2 keys+ fobs and some service history and paper work etc

just bumping her up with new price £600

body work and paint is better than i,ve seen on a lot newer or more expensive discos
boot is solid , takes my weight 18 stone
new rear arches are fitted
drives great

i have even washed it!!!

i am at NG12 on the A52 if anyone wants to come and have a look / test drive
