  2. neil - i,m tempted  , i,ve owned various semi-auto's in the past ( along with s/s o/u etc ) , but out of preference for this type of shooting i would prefer a pump.

i owned one of the 1st benny nova's a few years back , how does the supernova compare to them

  3. Hi darren

In IPSC/UKPSA matches pump & semi-auto guns are scored seperately, giving a winner in each division.

Small hand held timers carried by the range officers give you a start "beep" to begin each stage, the timer records the noise from each shot & the time taken to complete the whole stage (last shot fired) is entered along with the points you scored, a computer program then works out who won.

Its great fun & growing around the world, the next european championships is to be held this September in the Czech Republic, I and 30 other shooters from the UK have already entered.

If you would like to try it come and visit us at our club, we hold several open "club" level 1 matches where visitors can come along & try it. next one is May 24th.

Check out the website for up to date info.

Neil -- what would you consider suitable as a starter PSG gun ??

    Are they all FAC ??

Whats the most popular shotgun for this type of shooting ??

What rounds /ammo do you use for this ??

    thanks again

  4. mate , just in case check the teeth again .

my lab had a similar problem , and the vet checked his mouth , and said teeth where fine

a few days later i deceided to check his teeth again myself , sure it was a mouth problem and guess what i found - his back moler had rotted and broken away leaving the nerve red and exposed , i was furious  .

i took him to a different practice and had the tooth removed pronto

just to be sure worth another look .

    cheers

  5. is it just me , but i love pump action shotguns , there just so much fun B)

took my mossberg to the clay ground today just for a change , it felt so good racking that slide. :good:

anyone think the same or am i just a weirdo :o

if you own a pump please post a pic here , would love to see whats out there .

mines a mossy 500A , cameras out of order at the mo so no pic - sorry

    cheers

  6. thanks for all the replies lads, but i handed the nova back to the gunshop last week :good:

meant to post up but was going to wait til i got some pics sorted. traded the nova in for a 2nd mossberg pump action!

the novas a great gun but there was a couple of things about it i didnt like, nothing major but it just didnt feel right, if that makes sense? i felt like a right **** going back to the gunshop with it!

so now both my shotties are mossberg pumps; a 500a and a 600at (very little difference in them). I was going to post pics but basically the 500a has the wood stock still on it, but the 600at (one i got last week) has been kitted out with a black ati stock with pistol grip and black synthetic forend

 babby -- interested to see a pic of your new mossberg if you can put one up , also looking for ideas to put a bit of height on my mossy pump stock .

    cheers

  7. cheers lads -- shes all better now , poo is as normal and no mess in the night .

it defo could of being the frog :good: ( i did,nt mention it before as i just saw her playing with it , not actually eating the thing ).

the only thing i have left out of the diet is her daily morning scrambled egg  ( 1 egg , bit of milk microwaved , hand full of eukanba )

maybe it was the egg , dunno :hmm: , i,ll try and reintroduce it later ( like her to have the egg for the extra muscle building protein ).
