  1. ******, shame you're the wrong end of the country - Love Gamebore 24gms.
  2. I'm sorted now guys, I got myself a really good deal on a Beretta 686e Evo.
  3. Thanks Steve, hopefully it's a nice tidy one. I travelled 150 miles looking at three today and they were all pretty rough, and that's from a dealers!!
  4. Hi All, I'm looking for a 30" or 32" Sporting Gold E, let me know if you have anything available. Thanks in advance. Scott
  5. Message sent regarding confirmation of location. (Tetbury or NE Scotland)
  6. Hi Gamekeeper, I would be depending on costs and location; also I'm a complete novice if that matters!?!? Thanks Scott
  7. Hi All, Does anyone have or know of any used Beretta Classics for sale? Thanks in advance Scott
  8. Very interested in this, I'm a complete novice and as luck would have it I received my SGL today!
  9. Hi All, I'm still looking if anything is available? Thanks in advance. Scotty
  10. Do you always get a written confirmation when you put your application in, I've had confirmation over the phone that it's been received but nothing official. My docs were received by Dorset police on the 9th of January; however I was told that there is a six to eight month wait on certificates.
  11. Update - Dorset police have employed more staff and have been given overtime to clear the back log. The latest timescale I've been given is 8 to 12 weeks so things are looking better. I've also booked some lessons, I have my first one on Tuesday!!
  12. We run them for our fleet vans : They get through clutches, gearboxes, collapsed seats, electronic problems etc etc.
  13. Hi All, Does anyone need any help beating, helping at clay shoots or clearing pigeons etc I'm a full BASC member so I'm fully insured. I've recently applied for my SGL; however in Dorset there is a 4 to 6 MONTH backlog so it's going to take some time. I'm an experienced pest controller, in fact over 20yrs in the industry and currently an area manager for one of the big names. The problem is we deal mainly in the commercial sector so I don't have any contacts in the countryside/wildlife side. Thanks Scott
  14. My Mrs has a ST, but it's only covered 40k. They have heavy motors in a light body so suspension/steering components and tyres all require maintenance replacement. At 100k with a decent service record it would have to be very cheap. My Mrs got offered 3.5k by webuyanycar and it's a 2007 model with 40k and a decent service history. Hope that helps!
  15. My local force (Dorset) is 4 to 6 months, so I really do hope it's quicker up your end!!

  17. I checked with my local FEO office today that they had received my completed application and that all was correct and present. It was received approx three weeks ago, I asked how long the wait is likely to be and they said between four and six months. Surely this can't be correct?
  18. 4 to 6 months to get a shotgun licence......
