  4. I do aswell mate and i agree its lovely and i like the difference in colour, not my usual type of dog im more into mastiffs and bull breeds but he's still a looker. The guy's ex wont let the kids go round whilst its there so unfortunately may be in a rescue by the end of the week!
  5. Hi mate. Sorry but I know nothing about it's lineage and yes I mean border collie. I've attached the latest ones I've been sent below mate hopefully it works.
  6. Hi all, A colleague has rehomed a collie but unfortunately his kids are allergic. Its a 9 month old male and a typical collie by all accounts, full of energy! I am in work at the minute so no pics but if anyone is interested let me know and ill upload them as soon as possible. Dog is located in Liverpool area. From the pictures ive been sent he's a cracking looking dog. Free to a good suitable home. Mods please let me know if im missing any information or move where suited etc. Cheers Richy
  7. haha it is the yanks we are talking about!
  8. I must say ive enjoyed reading this thread and learnt quite a lot! I don't know alot about these types of things so forgive me. I wonder why US have not tried to stage a coup in NK to overthrow the powers that be. Would this be too risky or is there simply not enough resources to justify it? As said above please forgive me if im being dumb. I think im too young to understand all the reasoning behind all the animosity between the counties so maybe someone could educate me?
  9. Clakk you mind telling me who you work for? Pm me if you wish. Only wondering as my job is supplying JLR at Halewood.
  10. I agree apart from destroying the dog
  11. I think the main difference with different breeds is actually the way they bite as apose to the breed. For example a Labrador would bite and let go whereas a pitbull would keep hold thus causing more damage. My dog has been attacked 4 times, twice by a Jack Russell once by a springer, and once by a Labrador. The owner of the lab actually turned to me and said "he always does this drives me mad". All above dogs was off the lead in a public area which for me all comes down to one thing. Responsibility. No matter what dog you have if you ain't responsible, mistreat it and neglect it, it will misbehave. In my opinion you can also apply the above to children in a lot of circumstances (some may think that's extreme). For anyone interested my dog is a dogue de Bordeaux, if you are not firmiliar have a quick look on google and them imagine him being attacked by above dogs, and to think he simply stood there looking at me wondering what to do. Don't get me wrong if he retaliated it would have been messy but why didn't he? Because the way he has been brought up. I am strongly against banning certain breeds however I think I welcome the idea of people needing a licence to own and/or breed dogs.
  12. Cheers lads, was just abit pee'd as the reason was someone was getting distracted, not its the rule, not safety or any other slightly reasonable example. Oh well live and learn
  13. Thanks for the reply, I wasn't aware it was a rule I will not use 3 in future. I wasn't trying to get into a dispute with anyone, just learning. And it's not that I feel the need to use 3, I just enjoy it.
  14. So it's an unwritten rule yet I should know about it? As already said he did not tell me this is the rule, he said someone was getting distracted. You can only use 28grm at this range, that's the rule, I know this as there is signs stating this. If I didn't follow this rule I would expect to be kicked off or at least have a stern talking to. I still don't get your point about the gun being unsafe, I check the semi just as strictly as any other type. I wouldn't feel any less safe if the guy on the next stand was shooting a semi and not a o/u.
  15. As far as I was aware there are no "rules" regarding what order or how many you wish to shoot at a time. I wasn't in a competition etc just having fun, but as said above if they are the rules then no problem, however the reason was someone on another stand was being distracted. The comment about loading 3 shots and getting distracted is daft in my opinion. What's stopping you loading 2 shots and getting distracted? Do you not think I check and double check when handling the gun just as you do with your o/u?
