Looking for some advice. Im going to be putting my CZ HMR up for sale as i am not really using it. I also want to start black powder revolver shooting. My question is,can i just put in for a 1 4 1 variation,being a different type of firearm,or do i need to pay for a normal variation? I will not be needing the HMR slot any more.

I am about to put in for a variation to have a black powder revolver. Im looking at getting a .44 but not sure what to put on the paperwork. I know about the explosives licence so will apply for that at the same time. Any advice would be much appreciated. p.s i do belong to a club where black powder is allowed.

Thanks for the replies. Yes,the ground is approved for full bore and both the rifles are suppressed. The area where i zero has a very good back stop so no problems there. Just wanted to see what everybody thought.

Hoping somebody can help me here. I have got my shooting permission,where i shoot rabbits with my HMR and decoying with the shotgun. I have permission from the owner of the farm to do a bit of target practice,he has no problems with that. Im about to get a .22 and was hoping to do a bit of target shooting/plinking with it every now and then. Where do i stand with my fac,as its vermin/zeroing but not target practice? Am i ok to do this or do i have to get it put on my licence?
