Thanks for all thr advice I do have a couple of T20 red and white LEDs and also been using a laser designator from Laserware. Its the ND 50 Glacier. Used it on the rabbits,very powerful but not yet tried it on foxes.Hopefully it will do the job.I have tried a diy night vision set up but did not get on with looking at a screen Trying not to spend anymore money for a while so hopefully my current gear will get me started.

Im just about to start going out looking for foxes. I have n icotec 350 and was wondering if any of you fine foxers could direct me too some good uk downloadable calls. I will be going out lamping and wanted to try some daytime foxing as well. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

SXP fantastic gun,cant go wrong with one of those. Sold mine last year to a new shooter but he hadnt used it as could not find any land to shoot on. Just bought it back from him and glad i did.

I have only had my firearms licence since feb this year. The only slot i have on it is the HMR. The permission that i have has already been cleared for full bore so no problem there. What i would like to get is a .222/223 as there are foxes that i have come across but have not taken a shot as so much is said about the HMR being marginal for taking foxes. The thought of having a runner worries me too much. If i applied for a .222/.223,do you think i would be required to have a mentor,having only had the cert for 8 months? Also,if i was granted the slot,would the .222/.223 be granted for fox as well as rabbits. Any thoughts would be much appreciated

I have put it on my SXP pump. The gun fits me like a glove and like buze.im flat on the rib I have tried it,but to be honest,it doesnt suit me. Glad i gave it a go though. If anybody wants it,they can have it for a tenner.posted.

Thanks for that,just over thinking the problem as usual. I have cut some strips from a hard rubber matt. Seems to do the job. Will try and get out and give it a try this week. Have had a nasty tooth infection for the last few days and didnt feel like shooting. Hoping to get to the dentiist in the morning.

All seems to have gone quiet on this thread. How are people getting on with the sight? Not fitted mine as yet,going to try it on my Winchester SXP,only problem is the rib is too narrow. Thinking of what to use to pack it out. Any suggestions?

Mine has arrived today. Only 8 days after ordering.I have the shooin one,got to be better than Rambo. I will be fitting it tonight but wont get to give it a try till the weekend. Got to say,seems very well made for the price. I will let you know how i get on with it.
