  3. I'm in Liverpool Andy, thanks for the offer, bit far away, think I will go with the carpet idea or might just stick with the assorted filled boxes as backstops!
  4. I've got boxes filled with old magazines, sand and even old coats to use as back stops, I got a pellet catcher to move around positions easily. It's just too loud!
  5. Hi fellas, I've just got a pellet catcher for the garden, which is great but boy does it make a ping when hit. Any ideas what I could put in it to deaden the noise? Cheers
  6. Well after debating a .22 or 177 and deciding on the 22 the fella had only gone and sold it a couple of hours before I contacted him. Oh well keep trying.
  7. I've shot squirrels and the odd rat in the garden with the pcps no problem, but if I want to go shoot targets I have to faff about re-zeroing, so I wanted a rifle I could grab when a bushy tail raids the bird feeder.

  10. Hi fellas I've been offered either a 97k in beech .177 just the rifle or a 97kt synthetic in .22 with weihrauch moderator bag and pellets for same price. Both rifles are in great condition and will be used for occasional short range pest control 20m max. Any advice as always appreciated. Cheers

  13. Hi @MickeydreddI have a friend who is interested in getting a Labrador puppy, mostly as a pet but the husband would like to do some field training, your dog and his pups look magnificent specimens, could you possibly send me some details of any litters you may know of to pass on to her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  14. Had one last week in the garden forgot to list. 13
  15. Both neighbours have open bird tables, so the rats are moving between, my feeders are all the hanging type but obviously with spillage the rats stop to feed. My boy and I have shot 4 in the last month or so and the squirrels haven't been near for ages, they just scamper along the back fence and never come to feed.
  16. Its not poison I'm putting down its just peanut butter to keep the rat still enough to shoot. I just wondered if there was any other bait that the dog wouldn't eat but would entice a rat.
  17. Hi fellas, as some of you know I've had a few rats in the garden, my son and I have shot a couple using peanut butter as bait, however every time I put bait out my pain in the ar$e Saluki keeps eating it. Any ideas for a bait the hound won't eat , he's literally just come in eating one of them filled coconut feeders that had blown off. Cheers
  18. Did this sell? If not I will take it cheers.
  19. I started a thread about a valuation for a rifle I was pondering buying, I didn't realise it was against the rules, so I apologise.
