    Lou Reed dead

Saw him at Glastonbury 1992. Brilliant except he had to finish early to make way for Shakespears Sister. Not so brilliant. A true musical innovator who influenced countless bands and probably still does. RIP Lou Reed.
  4. Hopefully pics on the way Rimfire.
  5. Barbour trapper endurance shooting suit for sale. Waistcoat is a size large and the breeks are a 34" waist with buckles to the calfs and are fully lined with Barbour Breathables material. I have only worn this suit once for a formal day so it is like brand new, only selling as I've put on a bit of timber otherwise I would keep it as it's a lovely suit and everybody commented on how smart it was. I thought I'd give it a go on here first before I put it on eeeeebay. Looking for £120 and this is less than half what I paid for it. I can't put up pictures, so if you're intrested send me your e-mail address and I'll send you pics. Thanks. Suit now sold, pending the usual.
  6. Looking for some chokes for a Remington 870 express 20 gauge. Need to be extended chokes 3/4 or full preferably ported but not a deal breaker. Thanks.
  7. Could you tell me how old and which model please.
  8. Thanks for the replies. Just been and filled it up with diesel and now my wallet is not looking too good. Hopefully it will be ok now and I'll be more careful in future.
  9. At the garage this morning I managed to put just over a litre of petrol in my car (Discovery TD5). The tank had about 20 litres of diesel in when I did it and I put another 30 litres of diesel in after to try and dilute it so the mix is about 50:1. Will this be ok? Will it cause any damage? I've been told so many things, truck drivers put petrol in when it's cold, it cleans the engine, it should be diluted enough, but also been told to drain the fuel as it damages injectors, turns to a glue like substance, affects performance etc. so wonder if any of you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance.
  10. I thought it was the one that covered the rear seats and went up the sides, sorry.
  11. Can you send me some pics of the bootliner please and if it's the one I think it is I'll have it please. You can send pics to dazbrit@btinternet.com Will this fit a Discovery 2
  12. I was looking at getting one of these and having a go at doing my old Remington 1100. Everybody seems to be covering rifles so do you think I could cover a semi-auto or would it be too dificult?
  13. Hi, could you send me some more info regarding location, costs etc. Thanks
  14. Powerstart 12v 95ah leisure battery. Low maintenance with charging indicator. Only a year old and holds it's charge really well. £25. Pick-up only from Chirk, North Wales.
  15. Unless I can find a supplier in the UK I'm not going to bother. They want $60 (about £40) to ship it to me, I sent a guitar to the USA a couple of years back for not much more than that. Robbing ********.
  16. Has anybody used or have any thoughts on these camo gun covers. I'm thinking of giving it a go on my old Remington 1100 but thought I'd get some feedback first. http://www.mossyoakgraphics.com/shotgun-mossy-oak-camo-gun-kit.html Does anyone know of any suppliers in the Uk.
  17. It's blowing, but only cold air. Checked water levels and the header tank is empty filled it up and when i got under the car it was leaking a bit but when the engine was started, it started ******* out, but I can't find where it's coming from. It must be something more than a pin hole or small crack etc. the rate it's coming out. Any ideas?
  18. My heater as stopped working in my Td5 and wondered if anyone had any ideas as to why. It was sound up until this morning and just seems to have stopped all of a sudden. Thanks in advance.
  19. Been to the trainers today and got on really well, probably done more in todays 1 hour lesson than I have done in the last 2 years. Within 20 mins I had her stopping to the whistle and steady as a rock to rabbits, in the rabbit pen (it's amazing what a couple of tugs to the ear can do). I know it's still early days but I feel 100% more confident and the trainer reckons that if I stick to it she should turn out to be a cracking little dog, so the next few weeks I'm gonna work on the stop and recall and once that's nailed, hopefully take her to the next level. Thanks for all the advice lads and I'll keep you informed on her progress.
  20. Quick update. Got in touch with a trainer, who lives not too far from me, and me and Teasel (the dog) are gonna meet him on Sunday and we'll, hopefully, take it from there. I'll keep you informed of our progress.
  21. Thanks Scotslad. Another member on here has given me the number of a trainer, not too far from me, so I'm gonna give him a go and he said the same as you about only a lesson every so often. I'll post later and let you know how I'm getting on.
  22. Thanks for your replies. I'm not gonna take her out again this season and hopefully I can get this sorted for next season, I'm not giving up on this one, just got a bit down hearted after yesterdays performance.
