  1. I was unable to attend the midland game fair this year, does anyone know who won the Truck? Anyone know the results?
  2. I assume AAAMan & Emmsy will be there..?? Not this time! I have a hot date saturday night and she has just bought a new hot tub - I need to get my prioritys in order
  3. Ive just heard that Sean Bramley shot 100 straight on the first course and a 90 on the second course!
  4. Managed a very scrappy 79 - My head wasntin the right place. Richard Bunning shot a 97 - That was seriously good!!
  5. I will be going I want that Badge!!!!!!!!! However I have just had a Kick EEze pad fitted and seem to be off form lately and have only shot every 3 weeks or so this year due to work and bad weather! Look forward to reading how everyone gets on And the horror storys
  6. I cant advise you on traps but if you can hit rabbits but not clays in the sky theres an 80% chance your missing behind as rabbits travel a lot slower than targets in the sky!
  7. I can do it every other round when im shooting well, but my head needs to be in the right place!
  8. Two weeks ago after a month lay off i shot the 120 birder at westfields and shot 92 which was about 18 away from high gun - I also slipped on my **** and slid about 4 meters before i stopped moving, i got up unscathed but looked like i had just been in a mud wrestling match.. Today i shot Nigel harts 6 dials in Monmouth a 120 bird mega sporting (All targets at range) I shot 94/120 and this gave me high gun with a 6 target margin
  9. Just got e-mailed this, will anyone from pigeon watch be going? I gonna be making my return from a one month lay off due to work Seems good value and good payout! 120 Birds for only £15! (when purchased on receipt of a completed Birds Only or Competition Card) This Sunday is the 120 Bird shoot at Westfield. Birds Only is £34, Competition is £38. Practice round £15 for 120 birds can only be purchased on receipt of a completed Birds Only or Competition Card We are sponsoring £510 of prizes each 120 bird shoot. Every competition entry will also put £4 into the prize pot which is paid out additional to the guaranteed money (see example below). High Gun £200 1st Place every class £90 All prize pot money paid back from 2nd place EXAMPLE If we have: 30 entries in AA competition AA 30 x £4 = £120 35 entries in A competition A 35 x £4 = £140 32 entries in B competition B 32 x £4 = £128 24 entries in C Competition C 24 x £4 = £96 The prize pots would be as follows: High Gun £200 AA 1st £90, 2nd £50, 3rd £40, 4th £30 A 1st £90, 2nd £60, 3rd £50, 4th £30 B 1st £90, 2nd £50, 3rd £45, 4th £33 C 1st £90, 2nd £45, 3rd £30, 4th £21 By us paying the 1st place in every class it means we can pay further down the rankings giving 4th and sometimes 5th place a good payout. This format also applies to the 100 bird shoots with £150 HG, £75 1st and £5 every comp entry goes into the pot. We know times are getting harder and shooting isn't cheap. We aim to give you a fantastic shoot layout in great surroundings with good facilities. Every entrant is written on the board, all scores are up quickly so you can follow everyone's progress and we have good scorers that don't allow cheating. Add to this the chance to now go round again as a practice for only £15 you get the chance to put right what you may have got wrong the first time and learn from it - our targets are only ever there once - there is no practice round during the week!! We hope to welcome you back to Westfield on Sunday - bring a friend and have a good day out. Next Weston Wood shoot is Sunday 20th January. Look forward to seeing you! 11. Well done Jonsey, I went out on saturday night and come sunday morning i was in no state for clay shooting so i went back to bed with a bad head
  12. AAA there'll be a bat mobile leaving Cricklade at 8am on Saturday for some mad orange whirly bow tie shooting at A1. Room for you and Emmsy if you'd like. Not quite the sporting you're used to but it will be a giggle. Thanks for the offer but will have to pass as i have the work thing tommorow
  13. Wheres everyone going this weekend? I have been shooting Longridge and Westfields every other week and now fancy a change! Weston wood i am told is not on. Where else can i get some good sporting comp birds this weekend in the midlands/south west?
  14. Good score AAA Man, I bet you're cursing those silly close ones that slipped away, Childerhouse seems to be cleaning up at every shoot they put on, let's see how he gets on at next years majors.? Cat. Thanks, I speak to Childerhouse everytime i see him, almost every week, he was saying he has had high gun at every shoot he has been to at weston wood since April, which was the last time i went there, and Faulds won it. Still an incredible run, i think he will do well in this years majors.
