  2. i used to have an albino hob that i managed to get at 9 weeks old from a mate, i handled it every day and it got stupidly tame, i once took it ferreting in the pocket of my seeland jacket and it loved it, he just sat looking out over the top. my 5 year old cousin used to play with him for hours on end and he never bit him so my advise would be to go for it lowlander
  3. ive never heard of a lamping kit that has a non-rechargable battery lowlander

  5. ive just had a phone call off my shooting partner and he said that hes just been to check the fox traps on one of my shoots, after hed checked them he said he had gone for a quick walk with his rifle and claims that he has seen a roe buck walking around one of the feilds , he says he was certain that it really was a roe buck. ive shot on that particular farm alot more than him and ive never seen any deer, has anyone else ever heard of there being any deer around here lowlander
  6. i have been considering swapping my remaing s400 for a cheaper pcp and tonight my mate has rang me to say that my local rfd has got some webley raider 10's in stock at £299 pound each, does anyone know why they are so cheap and would it be a good swap? lowlander

  9. me and my grandad have had a discussion today about shooting shotguns in my garden, we live in the middle of no where, the point at which my grandad said we could shoot from is 72 metres away from the road (we measured it today ) and backs on to my one of my permissions, i said i dont think we can but he says we can, surely you cant fire a shotgun in your garden? lowlander

  11. i beleive you can keep shotguns in a wooden cabinet as long as its over a certain strenth but rifles have to be kept in metal ones lowlander

  16. they are good guns, but if i were you ide get an o/u as a first gun then get a semi auto at a later date :( lowlander
  17. i have been looking for a semi auto for pigeon shooting and general vermin for a few weeks and have been looking at a new hatsan escort, but last night i was speaking to a mate who said he was selling a beretta 303 and it was in my price range, which gun would be better for pigeons and being generally battered about, i was swaying towards the beretta but just wanted some second opinions before i make a decision. lowlander.
  18. when ive been shooting crows with my air rifle ive found that they are alot stronger than both rabbits and magpies, where were you aiming at them? because ive noticed that if you dont hit them in the exact right place (just behind the eye) they can fly off and die later lowlander

  21. i took a one of my dads mates clay shooting with me with his new gun, which was a semi auto, it was the first time he'd used a semi auto so i told him about the safety and how it worked etc, so he stood at the stand loaded a cartridge in the breech then turned the gun upside down to load another, but he held it by the trigger and trigger gaurd when he pushed in the second cartridge the gun went off, resulting in a very shocked shooter and a massive smoking hole lowlander
  22. well done mate with a budget like that just keep your eye out and the right gun will turn up lowlander
