I’ve re-listed this due to someone not coming through with the money or more importantly a shotgun cert. so back up for sale is my Mossberg 500 ATP. This is a sec2 (shotgun certificate) 3 shot pump action. This model was specifically designed for police use (A= 12 gauge, T= Tactical, P= Police) with slugger type sights. it’s currently wearing Magpul furniture which I really like but for the traditionalists among us it comes with the original timber stock and forend. other upgrades include an oversized safety and a picatinny rail so you can mount an optic / red dot if so desired. the metal wort is in average condition but these shotguns just go on for ever. this is another reluctant sale but I just don’t use it and thought someone else would enjoy owning it. more photos emailed to you on request I’d prefer collection from Redcar but I also shoot at Northcote butts and Paintmines so can take it there.RFD transfer at your cost. Another super reluctant sale of the iconic SPAS-12 shotgun. This is a section 1 (firearms cert required) pump / semi auto shotgun. I bought this as I’ve always wanted one in my collection and now that itch has been scratched and funds are required for something else it’s now reluctantly up for sale. feel free to ask any questions. I’d prefer collection from Redcar but I also shoot at Northcote Butts and Morecambe so can meet there if that works for you. RFD transfer at your cost.

For sale is my Remington 870 Sportsman in 12g. 30" barrel, full choke and 3" chamber. Very nice condition and function perfectly. Its got to go, just don't use it enough and need the cabinet space. A bit of Googling will tell you it's basically a budget Wingmaster apparently. And most parts are interchangeable. Collect in person from Salisbury area. £200

Hi all, my first post on here so go easy! Firstly to set the scene, I have shot my whole life, having had an extended break for a decade due to lack of money, and recently got back into this wonderful sport and purchased a new ATA O/U 12g which I am very pleased with. Years gone I dabbled in loading my own cartridges just to make basic shells, nothing fancy but did it just because I enjoyed it, so I have very basic experience in reloading. I have recently acquired some really good rabbit/pigeon/crow land which is near horse paddocks. The 12g scares the horses too much, so for fear of loosing the land I am wanting to see which hushpower options were out there. I have ruled out .410 because of the cartridge cost and limited availability, also quite frankly my shooting isn’t good enough in my opinion to operate a .410 to its full effectiveness. Also the load-your-own equipment for .410 would make it cost prohibitive as far as I can see (?). So this leads me on to the larger bores, 12 or 20. The Mossberg offering of both of these is far too heavy, I’ve tried both in gun shops and just felt far too unwieldy. So I guess my question is... Does anybody have any experience or thoughts of a basic pump action (e.g Hatsan), with a Hushpower removable moderator (the one where you send off an extended choke to them, £180 from http://hushpower.co.uk/Gunroom/SG_Hushpower.htm) and then also my ability to produce decent subsonic 12g which actually kills out to a decent enough range but remains at least ‘fairly’ quiet? Thoughts please from anybody with any experience in either reloading subsonic 12’s, or indeed anyone with a larger calibre Hushpower shotgun! Thanks in advance Jim

I have acquired a Hatsan pump that has clearly burst/worn out a seal inside of it and would like to strip it down to replace the seal. The spare seals were still in the compartment in the pump, but I have had no joy attempting to dismantle the thing. If anyone has any experience with these pumps or knows of somewhere that will refurbish it professionally then I would be delighted. Thanks very much.

After going from my Baikal O/U to an Ugartechea SxS in three months I decided to keep my Ugartechea and get something a bit more modern, So I nipped along to Norgas Cartridge Company and purchased myself a Mossberg Maverick 88 in 12 Bore from my good buddy Webber, as always top service with loads of advice and a good natter when purchasing a new gun. What do you chaps think of Pump Action Guns compared to Side By Sides and Over and Unders or Semi Autos.

Quietest (from user's perspective) Hushpower shotgun?
Thunderbird posted a topic in Guns & Equipment
I'm interested in user experiences of hush power shotguns. On searching here and on other forums opinion seems a bit divided on this. So primarily from the user's perspective, what in your experience is the quietest, and with what cartridge combo produces the best effect / noise tradeoff? I've been recommended a 410 pump and I'm tempted to, but just wondering what other options are available. This is going to be for close-ish range rough shooting. Thanks.
