utectok Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 hull compx 21s are the best I reckon but I'm currently shooting some gamebore 21 gms White gold I think also good but not quite as sweet. I have to say I have never had a target that didn't break with them when I pointed my gun in the correct direction . Good for 40yds with 1/4 choke after that you need to choke up a bit but that's the same with any cart I think! Mind you I don't ever hit good percentages way beyond 40 yds but I'm a bit rubbish! I've tried 25g of 7's ( express ) in a 12 bore due to a shoulder problem and as long as sensible ranges are observed they kill ok, found 1/2 choke best.
