Klunk
Just musing...Table 2 (Ammunition) on the back of an FAC has just 4 rows. An FAC only needs to be renewed every 5 years. Does that mean you're only expected to buy ammo 4 times in 5 years? What happens if you buy more? Are we supposed to staple additional sheets on the back or something? I'm sure I'm not the first to wonder about this. I must be missing something obvious...
SSS
My local RFD has written about 5 lines in the first box for .22RF ammo, dont nkow what happens when we run out of room though so I'm not much use
humperdingle
I know you're not supposed to write on your own FAC, but I drew pencil lines on the ammunition section - Just divide the sections that are there into 5 with horizontal lines. Helps remind gun shops to stick to the lines!
steve_b_wales
When the entries are full, you can send your certificate off to get it renewed, free of charge. My RFD writes very small in the box, that way he can enter a few entries before it's full.
Blackbart
When the rfd fills it in they should write as small as poss and ignore the boxes and just fill it in like a blank page.
Klunk
See? Easy when you know how! Thanks chaps!
Dunkield
You can actually get loads in there with small handwriting, it's the RFD's that use a dirty great John Bull stamp that wastes the space...
Mr_Logic
Yes, if you fill it up just send in for a replacement. Reloading helps as not all RFDs write in the bullets. That said, I never worry as I have too many variations anyway!
njc110381
As the others have said the RFD will usually write very small to maximise the number of possible entries. It is silly though, I just looked at mine and there are two more boxes on the fireams to be acquired section! Seems a little daft, you'd think you'd get a full page for ammo
Andy H
When i was an RFD it was a pain in the proverbial filling the ammunition acquired section out ,but i used to stamp the box with my stamp but then try to fill in 6-7 entries for the various bit and pieces in the same line box that i had already stamped and that used to send me grovelling through pen bin for a small tip bic pen (what a pain).
