Cranfield
Those that have bought sillosocks speak very highly of them, I like flocked shells.
Paddy Galore!
never tried sillosocks, flock shells work well, brings them in better than standard shells.
Cosd
I wouldn't touch the full body's as they just take up too much space. Both the shell flocked and Silosocks get very good write ups on here. I've just bought 24 Sillo's, should come through the door any day now Edited December 17, 2009 by Cosd
Burt Babolski
Silosocks all the way for me !! had great success with them totally recommend them worth the extra costs!!!
Paddy Galore!
might just be persuaded to get some then. how many do you use normally?
Greenhunter
Can I suggest a couple of decent floaters. If you've already got some ordinary deeks floaters will do well for you without adding much bulk or weight. GH
Cosd
might just be persuaded to get some then. how many do you use normally? Depends on what time of year it is. In the summer you can even get away with half a dozen, I usually use about a dozen, but this time of year the woodies bunch up in big numbers and it's difficult to persuade them to come down if you only have a few decoys on the ground. I'd say 24 this time of year and you can add any shot birds to the pattern, but some people will use many more even.
top shot
ive got both and you cant beat the full body shell you can put them up in a tree among branches and work extremely well but sillosocks also work well so its a pros and cons situation
