I wouldn't touch the full body's as they just take up too much space. Both the shell flocked and Silosocks get very good write ups on here. I've just bought 24 Sillo's, should come through the door any day now

might just be persuaded to get some then. how many do you use normally?

 

 

Depends on what time of year it is. In the summer you can even get away with half a dozen, I usually use about a dozen, but this time of year the woodies bunch up in big numbers and it's difficult to persuade them to come down if you only have a few decoys on the ground. I'd say 24 this time of year and you can add any shot birds to the pattern, but some people will use many more even.

:yes: i also use 12-15 in the summertime and 30 this time of year to simulate flocks of birds!!

i also use hypa-flaps on a rotary and 3 bouncers but each to their own as always.
