A lot of our woods are inaccessible for guns, as they are on private land owned by cement companies, or woodland trusts. William, the balloons idea sounds interesting. I,ve never seen a pigeon die laughing. I,ve found the lack of other guns, to be more than adequately compensated for, if the wind is really blowing. ollie Posted January 30, 2003 Report Share Posted January 30, 2003 yeah ill be going out roost shooting this weekend, i went last weekend but me and my mate shot really bad, but there was a lot of pigeons about. i agree with cranfield if its windy they will keep coming in, don't go if its not windy.
