bignoel
right lads picked up a funny sort of noise sounds like the dust sheild over the brakes rubbing then a clonkiing noise appeared then the stearing went wibbly wobblery at 30 mph and gone at 40 mph then it all vanished for a week and i hit a feild frozen and it all came back again ? sounds like its midway under the body but cant find anything visueal [sp] wrong with it ? any ideas
scarecrow243
Hi Noel i had a similar thing happen a few years ago in a suzuki sj413 it was driveing fine on the road then after lamping a few feilds we were heading home when i reached 35mph the steering started shakeing like a wheel was loose anyway the next morning i found a stone trapped on the inside of the wheel removed it and all was ok, dave

bignoel
right belly pans off and checked uj's all seems fine ? apart from 2 ton of pig muck on the belly pans and belive it or not i dropt a socket knuckle into the pan 3 weeks ago and it was still there ? anyway back to the wibble wobble found nothing wrong with the props ? so i thought i would check the wheels took first one off and a sovel full of frozen pig muck to reveal my brake pads were non existant both sides ? so replaced them both sides and i havent had a chance to test drive yet but i think it must be something more but can honestly say its not visable to the eye what ever it is

pyr8
what are the discs like, have seen them resemble a bacon slicer blades after being run on worn out pads.
bignoel
checked them before i fitted new brakes they are fine as on the old pads was a very tiny bit left like a rizla paper thin so never scored the disc's lucky heh . Windy
just before I got mine I spoke to nice old girl I saw in one at a fuel station. She turned out to be a shepherd, and said she had always used 'Traks and wouldnt dream of having anything else. The one thing she did say was to regularly do the grease nipples.
