digger Posted September 17, 2005 Report Share Posted September 17, 2005 a mate of mine had a spare kit from his last litter and offered it to me.wife was unimpressed and to my shame the kids had no idea what one is,despite having seen them at my mates.despite having two girls and living in the sink hole that is croydon i am determined that they will learn about country matters,hence their new pet.and pet it is as i have seen cuddly toys with more aggression. thankfully my mate is an expert with ferrets so "boris" was well handled from young and craves attention.he sleeps in a proverbial palace and i have my 5 year old eager to clean him out as soon as she gets in from school. cant say the dog is over impressed,not due to the lack of attention,more down to the fact that boris isnt fazed by her and investigates her bed and bowls with a "**** you"attitude. the point of this rambling post ? makes living in a horrible place a tad easier,shows my kids that computers etc aint the be all and end all and they learn about the things i grew up with.boris will be the first ferret to be taken to their school and i will be there to explain what they are and what they are bred for,how un pc is that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
