Nearest Game Fair to Newcastle?

Can anybody tell me where the nearest game fair is to Newcastle? Would be willing to travel within reason as a group of us are hoping to make a weekend of it but if there's a good one not too far away it would be a bonus. Any time of year would do as we're planning ahead.

Cheers,

Mike

i went to a game n country fair at a castle in durham last year... raby castle at staindrop.. wasnt very good tho

no guns, the gundog display went astray when the dogs went they spotted a lil girl with a sausage, stuff for sale (what there was of it) was all top price as in £230 fr a fleece.

there was fly fishing tuition with no tutor i could see, bloody steam engines, arts n crafts n sheep dogs/dog agility but it was all displays so pointless taking a dog.

i didnt do the clays as it looked to be a `have a go thing` n not a comp.... but i did eat many meats

...if you find what i would call a gamefair let me know as this was 1st order pointless
