smiiithy
Can anybody tell me where the nearest game fair is to Newcastle? Would be willing to travel within reason as a group of us are hoping to make a weekend of it but if there's a good one not too far away it would be a bonus. Any time of year would do as we're planning ahead. Cheers, Mike
apache
You'd have to check but Newcastle would be about equidistant from the Newark Game Fir end of Feb of the Scottish game fair July. Selby might be nearer but not that big. I assume you want a BIG one? CLA is in Warwickshire this time. Midland is HUGE.
hookbones
i went to a game n country fair at a castle in durham last year... raby castle at staindrop.. wasnt very good tho no guns, the gundog display went astray when the dogs went they spotted a lil girl with a sausage, stuff for sale (what there was of it) was all top price as in £230 fr a fleece. there was fly fishing tuition with no tutor i could see, bloody steam engines, arts n crafts n sheep dogs/dog agility but it was all displays so pointless taking a dog. i didnt do the clays as it looked to be a `have a go thing` n not a comp.... but i did eat many meats ...if you find what i would call a gamefair let me know as this was 1st order pointless steve

It was pretty poor at best. I was laughin at my brother wasting all his money on them clays - he spent more than the first prize i think lol. There was poultry for sale tho and a beer tent
