starlight32
Does anyone know where I can buy these in bulk.trade/wholesale or who makes/distributes them Cheers Go to a production trimmers, they use a neoprene memory foam, and the rest is screen printed on. Normally around 50-60 to a sheet and they are then pressed out by a pattern knife mechanically. Most people get them made locally, find a supplier take a pair in and negotiate the price per quantity. I think you will find many have tried to get them made and manufacture there own outside the larger supplier but I think it most often does'nt come to nothing
Bobba
Does anyone know where I can buy these in bulk.trade/wholesale or who makes/distributes them Cheers I do believe that Gareth of clay & Game, email *********************, sells them. I say, believe, because I saw foam wing sets on fleabay for about £6.50 a set and I recall it was clay & game. I negotiated a nemises floater with Gareth. If it's the same wing sets then they are quite good. I suspect like all things in life, you may shave something off the price for bulk orders provided both parties agree on a definition of "bulk" HTH

I was thinking of 3mm spring steel rods, but am not sure of they will do the job.

Westcountryman
Was thinking of 6mm fibreglass rod for poles, but where do you source it from, any ideas? I was experimenting over the weekend and used some garden canes (Bamboo poles) on a bouncer and it worked well. I had a few canes, but the very thin ones seemed to work best. The thick ones did not flex at all.
Cranfield
I am sure someone bought some cheap plastic garden "canes" from Wilkinsons or somewhere similar and used them for floater poles. I will search around for the post.
bigjohn
If you're ever in Bristol, there's a kite shop that does spares. These include spars, glass fibre and carbon fibre, if you're feeling rich. I just got a couple of 1/4" tubes to use with hypa-flaps. The only down side is that the tubes I got are white, so I had to sand them down and paint them. I haven't used them in the field yet. I have a feeling that the tubes may have a little too much flex. I'll post again when I have tried them out.
