A long long time ago 1990 to be exact. I got cut up in a petrol station of all places. I was a chilled out dude but couldn't let the situation pass as I was in the motor with the future Mrs 357 so to speak

Anyway picture the scene. All petrol stations have two pumps to each filling point so to speak. I pulled into the station following some tool head in front of me. He pulled up to the first filling point not realising I was behind him. I gave he a friendly toot on the horn to move to the forward of the filling points. Low and behold I got the finger out his the car window. Nice one mate I thought, bit brave for a Monday night. I reversed back drove in front of him blocking his exit. By this time a car had pulled in behind him. Me thinks by this time he wished he could turn back time B)

I got out of the car and Mr Tool head was frantically pressing the door buttons on his MK1 Escort whilst his bitch was closing the windows. His dude was ******** himself big style

I'm sorry I'm sorry he said ******* himself. Too late matey, BANG ! I tried to punch his lights out through the door window. Very big mistake I broke a few bones in my right hand. Pot on for 6 weeks. No the window didn't smash, ouch !

I did see the cheeky puppy out one night though several weeks later :lol: :yp: ;)

I still see him most weeks now, and funny thing is he won't look at me. Strange

I would start smoking again if I were you Jonno old son.

Because one of these days you will find someone who will make a formal complaint to the police…..and then you can say goodbye to your guns ! B)

I got some new evidence last night whilst lamping, on shooting threw grass.

A fox i spoted on the lamp at 62yds, was sitting behind some rushes, not too thick, but more than just a few blades of grass. No matter what i did, the fox sat and did not budge. I aimed at the shoulder and squeezed, bang flop.

It hit exactly where i aimed at. :)

Now this was the one off, so weather i was lucky, i dont know, but it was rushes i was shooting threw.

Also, my bullet was a soft point, prehaps, if i was using a v.max, it might be a different story.

Ouch!! :*)

I will have to let you know when I want to flog some kit B)

9-13 fixed is £49, swivel is £70

I have never seen any Harris for over £100, but then I guess I am going to the right shops.

Make a small investment of 3 quid and buy Gunmart, there isn't a lot in there, but it worth keeping for the ads - look at The Sportsman and York Guns for instance.

I would also say NEVER bid on anything gun related on eBay wihout checking the new prices from those 2 shops.

Stuart

Both my harris bipods have the hinged as opposed to the fixed base and according to some original paperwork i kept they are apparently Series S type.

The solid base model H(13.5"-23" :*) looks like it sells for around £72 although without doing a detailed search i can,t seem to find the hinged or tilt version .

Thanks for the tips though  ............ I've already had dealings with the Sportsmans Gun centre and i can thoroughly reccomend them. B)
