Mail Order Companies

I have used them before but it was before they grew in size, they were alot smaller when i dealt with them and only sold a smaller range, i have heard that since they extended what they sell it has slowed things down, however they shouldn`t take the money from you card that far before they dispatch your goods, i would be complaining big time or personally cancelled the purchase and gone elsewhere.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, two weeks later and they've finally admitted that they don't have the item I ordered and can't get one. Would I like to order something similar?

Have now demanded a full immediate refund and threatened Trading Standards.

Four hours so far and still no reply.

BE WARNED!

Surplus and Adventure.

Atrocious.

Three weeks since money taken, over a week to reply to an e-mail, latest reply is "hope to put in post in next five days or so".

Any other experiences of this or any other company?

I HAVE USED THEM ONLY ONCE........ONLY ONCE........GET THE PICTURE.........ONLY ONCE

Not related to any of the businesses listed above. I ordered a couple of things from two different companies, before xmas. One took 30 days and the other (boots) took 60 days

I think some firms take the order before they order the goods in?

Update.

Goods ordered early January & credit card debited.

Early February admitted that goods unavailable; refund demanded.

Middle February, after a reminder, they have agreed to refund credit card but stated that it could take four weeks!

Trading Standards and/or Police?

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Thats bloody awful :good:

I run a mail order business, albeit selling wheels

a) Its wrong to charge before the goods are ready to dispatch

:good: have they forgotton the old saying 'the customer is always right' - never ******* a customer even if they are an idiot

c) they can refund a card in 10 seconds flat, unless a) they have no money, :P they are being bloody useless/tight/scamming
