bigred
The girlfriend is looking to get a semi auto and wondering if the Hatsan Escort was worth considering? Thanks
poorpeet
Yes, but from what I hear I'd stick to the 3" chamber.
Edward
as long as you dont get one of the old crappy ones, then yes you want one with a curvy butt pad onwards, mine worked well it only jammed on 65mm and 21grm loads Edited January 29, 2010 by Edward
Markio
Cheap and cheerful. There are many arguments about the cheerful aspect.
sitsinhedges
I own a 20g one that I bought as a project. It is now my favourite gun to carry around the fields. It only weighs 6lbs and points as well as any gun I have. Lets face it, there aren't many alternatives for that kind of money. The only fault is that it throws cartridges a long way and they take some finding.
Ean76
I had one and would recommend them without a doubt! Only thing worth bearing in mind is that you have to hold in the side button to load any round in through the bottom. Bit tricky when you first use it but soon get used to it. 3 yr warranty, multi choke, shoots steel? All for around £400 - good value!

The newer ones don't have that button , you just load as normal Not had any problems with mine and it cycles anything

Traveller
Great gun for the money, had a few probs with mine through lack of maintenance after shooting over 600 shots on a hot day, and not cleaning for several weeks. Piston jammed and "o"ring got pinched and ripped totally my fault! does cycle rounds along way off as do most semi's, and i wish i could get the bolt out ! after following instructions and you tube still unable to achieve this. Great Value !! Black synthetic, multi choke, extra spacers and stock adjusters. Brilliant for the shorework or as with me a work tool.
