ollie Posted February 2, 2010 Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 Here is a picture of our final bag of the season on Saturday. Small bag but again an enjoyable day. I am sad for the season to be ending, but I am so pleased at the progress Dawn (my 8 month old springer) has made this season. She has been out in the field for the past 3 months rising birds and making some very impressive retrieves. Don't get me wrong she is no potential field trial champion or anything but for what I need her for (rough shooting) she is great. We put out 70 Pheasants and ended up shooting 41, not a bad return nearly 60%. Also shot another dog fox in the on Saturday, I think that is 20 we have snared and shot on our shoot this year.
