pendle
a farm i do the pestcontrol on as he is a customer has a problem with canada geese 300+ and it now being out of season the farmer has an agreement with countryside council for wales in it it says he can control them by shooting.Due to the general bird license not being issued till after june this is when the ccw will have decided weather to put canada geese on it and may take herring, blackbacked and lesser blackbacked gulls off it not enough in wales thought it was april fools day all ready lol

al4x
Ok my welsh interpretation isn't great but here goes, at the moment in Wales Canadas aren't on the general license so you cannot shoot them out of season have a look here and you are right it may change when its reviewed but until its reviewed and comes into effect you can't shoot them for the farmer. Until of course the Game season starts http://www.basc.org.uk/en/shooting/general-licences.cfm
Paul223
Sorry alx4 your welsh is rubbish he said with any luck the ccw will put canada geese on the general licence in june:yes: The farmer and i would imagine pendle as a 'servant' will be able to shoot them as the farmer has an agreement with the ccw
