bicykillgaz
cheers guys i cant remember where i got my last ones done but they was in black and white where as the only ones i can get with the fields marked out are like aerial photo's and roads become less clear unlessyou zoom in, my previous ones of my old permissions had roads and fields clearly marked a bit like an os map but with more focus on the lay out of the fields/ footpaths and right of ways marked out

natcot
This site is fantastic, many an hour is wasted at work on this one http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm Nathan Forgot to mention, on the right hand map you'll see a drop down menu showing OS+ option, change this to OS + 1930s map for instance and I'll bet your afternoon will fly by! natcot
just adjust the printer settings for b/w pictures and the one posted by natcot, shows paths as well. al Al is right, simply make sure your printer is set to black and white only! For a bit more detail try this map, this should show you the rights of way you need. I do love maps! natcot
That takes me back, I used to race cars, and went to Lydden Hill a few times. Never did get the hang of that place. Didn't take out my last map view from the web link!! The track borders one of my permissions, plenty of bunnies on the course during the night! I still occasionally go and watch rally cross there. Facalities wise it's a bit lacking but you do get to some some good old track battles!!
John_R
It is a real old grass-roots venue, actually very fast too. I have watched a few rally cross events there as well, when a mate of mine was campaigning a tricked-out Suzuki Swift.

sandersj89
The best way I find is go on to the Ordanence Survey site: http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/ Pop the address or post code in and you will get a pop up of the area. Zoom into the map and at max magnification you will get the map with field boundaries, contours, streams, etc etc. You can save the image to your computer. I then import this to a word document and add notes beside/under the map, such as the owners name, address, phone numbers etc. Print and I mark up the boundaries and then laminate them so I can carry them with me the first few times whilst I learn the lay of the land.
