humperdingle
Just got 4 x 1.5m Jack Pyke Clearview net from fleabay - £20. Looks OK, but haven't tried it yet. Hopefully the weather will be OK tomorrow so I can give it a go. Also got 2m x 1.5m of garden shade netting to act as a block-out for the main part of the netting. Just don't put it up with the light behind you. It becomes almost invisible.
humperdingle
Just don't put it up with the light behind you. It becomes almost invisible. That's what i'd heard. I usually set up in front of a hedge or wall, but that's also why I got the 2 metres of shade netting - Just something to block out the front. Imperfection
Get the biggest you can afford.Any surplus can easily be doubled or trebled up.
humperdingle
I just wanted something light and easy-ish to carry about. The 4 poles and net I've got now is easy to carry, being so light. Having used some ex-army camo in the past, I found it to be way too bulky to carry easily, and tended to have great holes in the pattern. humperdingle
Tried the clearview out today... Pretty impressed! Set up against an old ruined cottage wall... 14 pigeons never saw me at least
