rusty50
Price is a tad high for me but it gives me my time and for that and friends that ive met is fine but i only do 50 at any time in the main Cheers
RC45
I shoot there with the family, we always get carried away. The minimum we shoot is 100, which works out about £40 plus carts... Some clubs are about £18 for 100 sporting.
rusty50
Member price is £18 for 50 but it drops the more you shoot. I also go to a sunday shoot that shoots twice per month when time allows which is harder than barbury well it is for me!

Teal
I really like this ground and the people that run it are decent. Although it is pricey. Last year I got a group of 20 together and at the end of the day the owners of the club put on a team flush for us which was great! Sadly I now live closer to the other side of the country... wacker
Hi Mate, £11 non members 50 clays start 9.30 and the Tea is good. Iv'e been a member of Bassett Breakers for over a year now, it's a very friendly club. You turn up at 9.30am, get squaded up, start shooting at 10 and finish, usually at 12. wymberley
Hi Purely out of interest, is that the ground that JK used to own (I say "used to", I thought I read somewhere that he'd sold it)? Cheers

Nice place. JK used to host and teach the BASC coaching courses. If you got past him, Michael Aldis and the lovely, charming man "Sir" Christopher Craddock you just knew that you had to be doing something right. Even then, that team flush was something else! JonnyR
JK taught both me and my wife to shoot - a top man in my book.

Now run by Huw Stephens - nice chap, even though he is young and Welsh!! cheers, His Mum and Dad are often there as well, I think you will find they had a hand in purchasing this for Huw. Yes, it is a pleasant, friendly setup, not cheap, and a little compact, be careful where you leave the motor!! Dekers
Hi, B Breakers meet every other sunday morning until May then it,s saturday afternoons fortnightly the venue is Flaxlands just outside Wootton Bassett, the shooting club is based just outside the village of Upavon in the pewsey vale open six days a week and use claymate traps, so you can go round on your own if you want Excellent club cost last year £24 100 sporting changed regulary have there own website, google bassett breakers and the details come up on something like yell.com or similar. I've been staying with my lad in Swindon this weekend and went to have a look at Basset Breakers ground at Flaxlands on Sunday, unfortunately we a did not fully appreciate you HAVE to be there for 09.30-09.45. We made several calls to ask about the place with little success, trolled all through Wooton Bassett looking for it and eventually arrived about 11.00. Its well north of Wooton Bassett, actually over the M4 (I'd tell you more but I still don't know where it is, but I logged the location on my Sat Nav for next time)! It's a field with 5 stands run by those who shoot it, seems pleasant enough set up and at £11 for 50 birds is worth a try, at least the once! I'll be back to have a go sometime!
