Wrighty112
Took my baikal mp153 out this morning an it wouldn't recycle anything, it kept leaving the spent cartridges in the chamber an trying to load the next out of the magazine causing a stoppage.... I was firing 32g 6.5 eley HP, yesterday I was firing the same load only different cartridges.... Any idea??
BlaserF3
Why not ask the dealer first? You have a guarantee.
casts_by_fly
clean it. Sounds like it is cycling the bolt back enough to release the next cartridge, but not enough to eject it. I'd guess something is dirty in the bolt/action that is preventing it from cycling fully. thanks rick
kev 1
Has this model got the rubber "O"ring inside? If it is worn it could cause this, and also check the gas ports in the barrel are'nt blocked up with crud...
3jackwhite3
i had this problem with my auto when i first got it so i took it apart and it looked like it had never been cleaned, so i give it a good clean and it cycles perfect.
poorwullie
Thought this post was going to be about the council not taking your old newspapers. I'll vote for clean it first and see what happens.
Wrighty112
Took it out again today an it seems to not be gripping the spent catridge an leaving it half way in the chamber while it loads the next causing a stoppage, i'll try it tomorrow after a clean kim an aggy would be proud of an see if it helps. COACH
Try a good clean, particularly the port hole in the barrels and check the metal rim on the Eleys as they can sometimes be a bit too round and the little clip struggles to grab them properly. Also 70mm cartridges always work best in semi auto`s just in case your not using them.

The extractor could be worn, but do give it a thorough clean first and pay close attention to the gas ports. When you've cleaned the barrel-poke a piece of wire through the ports afterwards to get any cleaner residues out along with the muck. Wrighty112
Just stripped an clean it too military standards, so if it doesn't work this time I'll be paying my RFD a little visit to find out the banta :-)
Andy H
the browning a5 was notorious for leaving an empty in the chamber ,The american way was to wrap wire wool around a cleaning brush and spin it in the chamber with a battery drill to polish the chamber. Paddy Galore!
as coach said, some semi's don't like 2.5" carts. Benelli are notorious for this problem.

Many semi's dont like 65mm carts, but will cycle 70mm ones and bigger with no problems.
Wrighty112
I'm using 67mm cartridges but they were recommended from my RFD. I'll give him another bell tomorrow. But loosong confidence in it :-(.
