Fisherman Mike
Hi all, Many of us like a flutter at Cheltenham. I shall be going all 4 days this year and have sold a few chattles to pay for it.! My first day fancies are as follows. 1.30 The Irish will be crying if Dunguib gets beat but at odds on he is no value at all. hasnt beat much of merit in Heavy ground in all of his races over hurdles since winning the Bumper last year, but has done it impressively. Im backing Hobbs Menorah to come out on top 2.05 one for the Irish here in Captain Cee Bee, however I wont bother unless I can get at least 4/1, and I cannot rule out Sizing Eurpoe 2.40 Cheif Dan George seems to have spent all is life finding one or two too good in the top handicaps, Has run well in recent races and meets nothing of that calibre here . Ive had a big bet at 33/1 for this race and would be very dissapointed and a little suprised if he doesnt get placed. 15.20 This is the big one (Champion Hurdle) I cannot forget seeing this horse at Cheltenham Ive never seen a Hurdler come up the Cheltenham Hill as easily as Binocular did in October. This horse should be vying for favourtism and not on offfer at the 10 to 1 he is available at. If he gets his ground no worse than G/S he must go very close. My best bet of the Festival. 16.00 Edna Bolger and Nina carberry usually clean up in this glorified point to point race, its a great spectical for the crowd but not one to waste too much money on I would back Openide EW. Brendon Dukes 9YO gelding knows his way around this course and ran very well in the cross country here in November. Watch venetia Williams Zacharova in the Market if he takes his chance. Heavily backed before his last run by " the faces" but didnt show. 16.40 It wont be much of a price , you may get 100/30 but I expect Colm Murphys Voler La Vedette to take the sterling back to Ireland. It will take something on the top of its game to lower his colours. Good Luck to you all I hope you make a few quid. I shall be so ****** come 1.30 I dont really care. Cheers FM. Cranfield
FM, having followed your tips for the last few years I am now living in a cardboard box, most of my vital organs have been sold to cover the cost of my losses and my wife won't agree to let me sell her last kidney. So this year I think I will give it a rest.

Whitebridges
Have a great week FM. I had two days at the festival in 2004, brilliant occasion. As a betting medium it's a minefield. Hope you manage to come home with some cash. Best of luck. I always back Venetia Williams' horses Cheltenham week. Both her runners at Cheltenham and at the other meetings. She's had big priced winners at Fakenham and Huntingdon and I've filled my boots to make up the festival deficits! Mungler
Blimey FM, nice darts. You are now the PW official horse racing savant. Please provide us with further betting wisdom for the coming days racing EDIT: Hells Bells, a "straight" £1 accumulator (without the bonuses that a Satchell Buster or the like would have delivered) would have netted about £25,000 Edited March 16, 2010 by Mungler
Fisherman Mike
Im rich............... err oops perhaps not its a wind up guys..........My tips were useless. I edited the original post this afternoon on my blackberry after the results came through. I did back the 33/1 shot EW though at 40s I thought perhaps I could get my own back on the Underground Bunker boys.

How the hell you can "tipster" and not back with £££££ is bizarre. Anyway enjoy the rest of the week. You lucky fella.
