eddoakley
Hi guys, I bought a 10/22 at the weekend and was thinking of putting a mod on it. Am I right in thinking that if I am not selling it I don't need to get it proofed??? Edd

smurf
bit of a grey area ,you are right ,if you are going to keep the gun dont need to have it proofed but if you decide to sell it ,it really should be proofed ,but imo its a waste of money you can buy a gun of a gunsmith with no thread hand it straight back & get it threaded no proof required .just another way of getting at our cash imo
