Cranfield
Do you know what its current chokes are ? I suspect its 1/2 and 3/4, which is almost standard on fixed choke guns, especially the older ones. We have had questions like this in the past and the cost/benefit argument nearly always fails. Why not try it in the Field and see how you shoot with it, you might be surprised.
Rob G
My local gunsmith quoted £45 per barrel, that was to have 3/4 and full opened up to 1/4 and 1/

darren m
The reason i had just the one barrel done , was that i can hit most things with half choke , so thought i,d double my chances by having two of them . monkey -- if old roosters offering mate , and your any where near him , worth thinking about . Whitebridges
I had a AYA Yeoman bored out to cylinder and improved cylinder for £40. All I can say is that it's a lot better gun for it and worth the money.
berettaboy
have you actually tried shooting with it? You might be surprised. I recently got a SxS choked half and full. before i shot it I thought that the full choke would be too tight but my shooting and cartridge to kill ratio has improved 100% at driven pheasants.
