Magnet arms

Has anyone ever tried to build a magnet with say 3 or 4 arms instead of 2 if so was it any good? and if not why not.

I don`t see the point. Talk about OVERLOAD, both for the rotary and the pigeons!! If the birds can`t see two on the magic roundabout what makes you think they might see three or four?

one farm we shoot ,birds will allways turn off when they see one rotor with two birds on. but when we put two rotors side by side, in they come.

if they have been well shot at, try it.

the easiest way to train a animal/bird is repetition.

There are some people out there training pigeon shooters to use rotaries!!

i would rather have it and not use it. rather than not have it and want to use it.

How true Mark,I didn`t get one until this year and it opened my eyes--BUT it has it`s limitations.

If you put it out and it works o.k. If not get it in!!

Ive seen a video recently think it was Jim Alborne Red Letter day 2 and there was a magnet on that that had 3 birds on,

One manufacturer has made a rotary with EIGHT pigeons on. They have actually tried out two of them together and REALLY confused the pigeons!!

I don't use a rotary, it's just something else to carry. I do use a flapper that I made years ago, its operated by pulling a string, very crude but it does seem to do the job.

We have used our home made two bird rotary now for years, and have had some fantastic days,but have also found if the birds don't like it bring it in. It depends on the day.
