Anyone doing the East Midlands England team selection shoot at Grange Farm on 25th April. This is the second team shoot , the first was at Wylie Valley two weeks ago. Always worth a stab as you can watch some of the finest shooters in the country at these shoots and even get to shoot with them.I don't know any other sport that gives the novice or also rans a chance to perform against their sports best.In golf you would never have the chance to play against Colin Montgomerey, or in motorsports would you ever have the chance to perform against Lewis Hamilton or Valentino Rossi ?In shooting we are blessed with those opportunities so why not take them, there is alot to learn. from Auntie. :good::good::good::good::good:

I'm not going to bother this year, I'm afraid I'm not a lover of Grange Farm, (I reckon Keggy now put on better targets), far too many rotting straw bales and wonky birds for my liking.

Good luck to all who are shooting it, I'm saving myself for the English at Hodnet on May 9th, don't want to peak too soon. :good:

Yes, I think the Cat is correct, if the shoot is being put on by Brians son then expect each stand to present a simo pair of of edge on screamers quartering away acoss the fields some at ridiculas ranges. I stopped being a regular there because of the targets. Hopefully the course will be set by Ben Hustwaite or Arnie Palmer, both know what a good shoot should entail. :good:

I hope to be down to shoot this about 11 bells , if any of the PWers need company from Auntie.

It's squadded you know Auntie, we rang about about 6 o'clock tonight and got a 1pm squad time, that's me + Mr W from Blackpool, so I'm guessing if you haven't booked you'll still get a start but you might have to hang about for a bit. What ever we'll see you there sometime.

Cheers

Andy
