IIRC they send it, customs seize it, you show permission to own it, they hand it over then you have 90 days to submit it for proof :thumbs:

I still remember the good old days when we could bring it straight in and provide proof/FAC on entry

 

What about ammunition? Same issue? Good softpoint/expanding is far cheaper in Wally World than my local source.
