hindhunter
Trying to find out if there are any 4 legged rifle rests on the market?
Dunkield
Why would you want that?
seeker
I've seen a couple of pictures of such a creature ... one looked like 2 two legged rests joined by a cross bar (Stoney or Bogpod maybe?) the other was a collection of what looked like a bundle of poles joined by string ... probably excellent but the write-up made it sound like something illegal

webber
I saw a similar device on a trade stand at Catton last week end. I tried it out and the rifle was rock steady. You could PM Deako for further details. webber
Dougy
I tried a tri pod for stalking last year, and my opinion was........................... I now have a Bi pod, you need to get the bi pod out ready "quickly and quietly" 3 legs were a pain in the rear, clanking, wrong leg in the front, tree in the way, to high. and more.. so add another leg and IMO you make it even worse, if you need more support tie a length of heavy cord to the top of the sticks "Bi pod" when you deploy the sticks put your foot on the cord to stable the sticks
toads
Hi, think you mean "quadpods" I use them all the time for stalking &foxing You can open as normal sticks or as designed resting forend and rifle butt.I think there very steady, accurate. Mine are home made 1.7m long & think 11mm diameter fibreglass. I"m lucky my cousin works with fibreglass at famous fishing rod makers .
