Hi there , had a free weekend to myself (very rare !!) so thought i would get as much stalking in as i could as the weather was a good forecast. So striaght from work picked the dog up and set off am lucky only live 15 mins from the shoot. was stalking along side of a wood favoured by the deer when cought sight of 2 roe moving into a clearing in the next wood, so i stopped looked through the binos they were 2 does ,so watched them till they dissapeared back into the wood . Thought i would wait just incase there was a buck near by when i saw some thing moving in the grass , was a fox creeping towards 2 lambs curled up against a fence had to wait for a gap in the grass then pulled the trigger over he went . Feeling pritty chuffed took the fox and showed the farmer who was over the moon , he had found a half eaten lamb the day before not far from where i shot the fox

With the fox being a dog and knowing there was a set the other side of that wood the probibilty of him feeding a vixen were high so now she would have to hunt for herself ,sat out the next morning from first light , and came back 3 hours beore dusk and just as the last light faded there she was s

hot her in almost the same spot ! (only shot 2 the bottom pic is another of the dog)

:yes::good:

U allways get the syndicate members that dont mind shooting the birds on a shoot day but when u ask them to come out lamping (once in a blue moon )they allways have somit on

Been lamping with you, always take me to the **** places, there were loads here last night yada yada or when I do see anyhtiong you take the rifle off me and shoot them yourself.

I also value my life (and my windscreen).
