Daz2381
Hi Blacta, Just got my FAC 3 weeks ago and had a look at the CZs before buying one myself. I bought a CZ style .22lr second hand from Gram71 zerod it at 50m and I am well happy with it and have a SAK mod on it. Its quiet, accurate and nice to look at. Sussexboy
I got the varmint as I found it more comfortable. You need to try some of the different models as the ergonomics are different with the drop on the comb etc.
Colster
It's all down to personal preference, they're all basically the same action. I have a 16" Silhouette and love it to bits.
mick miller
Not necessarily so, I have the style and its become clear to me that the silvery, nickel coloured barrel aids accuracy when compared to its dark, dour silhouette sister. And that's a scientific fact.

And that's a scientific fact. Could you explain? Would not have thought the colour/finish of the exterior of the barrel would have any effect on its accuracy.............. inside the barrel is exactly the same on all 452's isnt it? George1990
The varmint has a nice palm swell, but if you're not using a bipod the American is nicer on the fore-end bit to hold. Can't stand all that plastic on guns so dunno about the others.

mick miller
My serious head on... These are my personal musings. Others may have different ideas. I think that the Synthetic stocks are the ones to go for if the rifle is being used in the field in all weathers. If you're predominantly shooting out of a 4x4 then go for one of the wood options (they just look nicer). But for lying in a wet field in mid winter you can't beat synthetic. No worries when it starts to rain either. The nickel barrel on the style is slightly harder wearing than a blued barrel. But otherwise there is no difference between them. The varmint is, as far as I can tell, the only truly fully floating barrel. It's thicker wall I'm led to believe allows you to shoot several times in succession without getting too hot or something, lord knows. All I do know is that the Varmint is noticeably heavier once you've been wandering around for a while. How often do you need to shoot 20 rabbits in quick succession? Not keen on the lux... mick miller
Fantastic, I'll shall quote this whenever I miss now, knew there had to be an explanation. Make sure you remember that its an official scientifilogical, undeniable fact. For some others there is no excuse...
