Guest gloker
I own one. best gun in my cabinet. If 410 carts were cheaper I would use it a lot more!! ha. (im a tight ####! Build quality is definitely 'utility' with no 'fancy' at all. I have only ever had one misfeed and that was a bit of a freak chewed up cart that seemed to wedge itself. They do feel a bit long when you first wave it about, its so thin and light though you soon forget it. My gun dealer loves them cos he never sees them again. must be something in that? Buy one, they hold their money so if it really doesnt suit (it will) you wont lose your pants in the deal. Let me know what you think when you get it. Highlander
I have a Mossberg Hushpower in 20 bore and I think it's the dogs dangly bits! Yes very long but most of my guns are so no real problem there. Yes front end heavy BUT that's a bonus as it helps your swing. Silent? Well almost with the Hushpower subsonics and still very quiet with 28gms, in fact the action makes more noise...ask pavman he shot with me last week and wanted to find out if his new pup was gun shy...it wasn't I like it and use it for pigeon shooting, squirrels and rabbits AND it's a real joy when roost shooting magpies! Paddy Galore!
yep, you'll have to take it to bits to fit it in, not a major hassle tho.
Guest gloker
Takes seconds though and certainly shouldnt put you off. PR arms in Hull can get new ones pretty cheap (cheapest deal I found anyway.) He threw some carts in too.

djrwood
I've got a little .410 baikal hushpower and absolutly love it. Is a pain to keep having to take it to bits when i put it in the cabinet but i take it apart to clean it anyway so its no major problem. Im now on the look out for a 12g or 20g hushpower pump to get those extra shots in and to improve the range of the .410 as at the minute i seem to be hitting birds at about 35 yards and not bringing them down which i definately dont want to make a habbit of. Im fairly certain its not due to poor shooting as i shot a lot of clays with the gun and was dusting them at the same range. Still a brilliant little gun that is unbelieveably quiet. I haven't bothered with the sub sonic rounds yet and am interested to see if they are any quieter. I just use the 3" 6 shot 18gm which are pretty decent. ATB Dan ive got a little cooey single with a home made mod which is super quiet i absolutely love that but i always need that extra shot i only use the 410 for lamping rabbits .i think we've all had a rabbit or two thats just made it back to its burrow on two cylinders plus my sausage fingers don't always get that little shell in as quick as i'd like iv'e just taken on a block of land alongside a sewage treatment works which is lousy with rabbits major clear up needed before planting of brassicas the rabbits have never seen a red filtered lamp before its a bit like a turkey shoot i had 21 fri/sat night would of had 7 or 8 more if i was multi shot enabled hence the need for a pump cheers chris
