Windknot
Robla SoloMIL- available here: http://www.ballistoluk.co.uk/index.html Ballistol gun oil is pretty good too- it has an interesting smell- licorice and almonds- but that quickly fades. seeker
Ballistol also comes in capsules for ulcers .. works on cuts etc and also does a good job as a lubricant for case resizing. So you get clean, healthy, hygenic barrels too... A bargain
Cranfield
After I lost my source for cheap Youngs 303 Oil, I moved on to Napier Aerosol and it cleans the gun efficiently both inside and out.
Chemical Al
i use balistol, its great stuff, wipe gun all over with it, then buff off with a microfibre cloth to an awesome shine
Windknot
I just use Ballistol on the outside- RoblaMIL is a bore cleaner. Ballistol is scientifically proven to improve your scores, helps you bring down the highest of driven birds and there is even anecdotal evidence that it attracts members of the opposite sex! Windknot
Hah! Just wait 'till you try the stuff- it'll even cure your lumbago! (And if you need any further proof of the stuff's efficacy- I have it on good authority that George Michael does NOT use Ballistol Klever...) Dekers
Shotguns...rifles...powder..... copper...lead....plastic.....everyone will have their own cleaning regime and it will be the best. Frankly, I have been cleaning all sorts of guns for many years and still don't know whats best, all I know is that when I have finished cleaning them they ARE CLEAN!!! Phoenix at Bisley this weekend, just about everything available to clean them will be available there...and strangely, they will ALL be the best!! Quickshot
I just use "Garlands" Solvent Gun Cleaner for inside the barrels. And i used to used "Garlands" Gun Oil for external use (£4.00 a tin). But I went to the game fair at Glemham and i found a giant aerosol tin of Browning "Legia" spray for £8.00. They seem to do the job well? QS Edited May 29, 2010 by Quickshot
