On the Guardian website they had figures suggesting there are around 17,000 certificates in Suffolk, certainly not 25% of the national figure

CharlieT
Latest Government figures show that Suffolk have 16,986 SGC's issued and 3690 FAC's. Devon and Cornwall has the most with 31,358 SGC's and 2693 FAC's with a total number of firearms held by certificate holders of 97,694. Dyfed Powys has the greatest number of firearms per 100,000 people at 11,400, whereas Devon and Cornwall has 5943 and Suffolk at 3600. Just proves you can make figures show anything you wish !!!. www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2010/jun/03/firearm-certificates-shotgun Edited June 7, 2010 by CharlieT

grasshopper
FEO was out this morning for my Shotgun renewal and he said there`s talk already of reducing the renewal time back to 3 years in light of recent events in Cumbria. Just wondering if anyone else had heard of this?
