Hello All

Taken me a while to get to grips with signatures and stuff (thanks to wife and kids!) but thought it was about time to step up and introduce myself.

I'm fairly new to shooting shotguns, but used to shooting generally from years ago (archery and air guns). Got into shotties like this: A year after our old German Shepherd died I gotta say I missed having a dog about the place. Always fancied a Wire Vizsla and went to see one working; hunt, point, retrieve - it was awesome! Eventually got a pup and decided to work him too, just for fun. After going out a couple of times with a mate I decided I was at a time of life (early 40s) where I could really enjoy shooting, so I got my certificate and bought my first shotty. Went for a SBS because I like the elegant lines (it's an E-type Jag thing) and it just feels 'right'.

I live between Goole and Selby - literally a spit from Park Lodge Shooting Ground actually , so very handy for clays, but no permissions yet. Very happy to meet up with any local shooters sometime.

Cheers
