soreshoulder
at last i picked up my SbS today, i was going to pay £75 for it when suddenly the owner turns around and says i can have it for free!! my lucky day i thought! anyway got it home now and took it out today and dropped a crow with the second barrel.Ill be refinishing the stock tommorow and monday so it should look the bees by then The barrels are open and full so its a bit weird. Im told it was a walked-up gun so on the first shot the pattern is very open and on the second its very full :( i cant seem to work out what make it is so i was wondering if anyone could recognize the make, it says t.h.haskins on the rib (i dont know whether you can see it in the photo) i tryed googling it but nothing came up :good: (on a side note, is it a bit worrying that this is the 6th gun that ive acquired since i had my SGC 2 years ago) also i wouldnt mind a nice 20 bore Edited June 19, 2010 by soreshoulder

steve_b_wales
Good Luck and safe shooting with it. Don't worry about all the guns you have bought so far. It's a bug that most of us share. :(

mattslaptop247
The only Haskins I can find is a John Haskins who was an American Maker in Masachusis.

soreshoulder
The only Haskins I can find is a John Haskins who was an American Maker in Masachusis. i am pretty sure its belgian as i has all belgian proof marks
Cranfield
Its probable that "t.h.haskins" was the gunshop or importer. A lot of guns came in from Europe and were marked up this way.
soreshoulder
thats a thought because of the proof marks i assumed it was belgian its the the E L G in an oval with the crown on top. Would importers inscribe their name to a gun?
