Out stalking saturday morning on one of my permissionns, with in half an hour spotted a single fox cub at the end of a wood waited a while to see iff there was any more but none showed so took the shot ...one less potential adult to worry about ! then went into the next field to see a buck walking along the fence line about 100 yrds to my left i was on a bank side so the shot was allways safe and as soon as he stopped took it , he ran about 20 yards then dropped stone dead. Was only 8am by this time so went home for some breckie then came back out with the 12g and bolted some rabbits with the cocker ended up with 11 had a great day so decided to put the lottery on went i got back .....waste of a pound lol luck had to give out sometime :)

Well, just how much luck do you expect mate?? lol :hmm:

That looks like a great result for an early mornings walk, and then to go back out after feeding the face and getting 11 coneys with the cocker and shotgun that must have been an added bonus!

Good write up and photos, keep em coming! :):hmm: B)
