Bagsy
JJs are having their annual charity clay shoot on Thursday 9th September. This year the proceeds are going to Darent Valley Hospital. 96 bird English sporting competition Free entry into a raffle for a grade 1 525 Browning shotgun for all entries 1st to 3rd men, ladies, vets and a 4 man team event. 10am start. Coffee and cold buffet lunch included and an auction after the shoot Entry £50 (to be paid beforehand). Dunkield
96 bird??? Surely they can find the extra 4 birds needed for a 100 birder SOMEWHERE? From memory they shoot 3 stands of 32 birds or something equally as daft
MC
From memory they shoot 3 stands of 32 birds or something equally as daft No you have it all wrong, They shoot one stand with 96 dolly floppers on the end of your barrels, it is only your boredom level that determines the score. At least it keeps the numpties away.
Dunkield
Ah OK, but what are their bales made from?
MC
You won't find any bales there at all, They just give out that impression of being a straw/haybaler to keep the elite out.

Evil Elvis
Well , as no one else bothered to post: What a shame there was a low turn out from us, a well run shoot, far more challenging than any I have shot there before, some real nice targets, nice weather and nice food. Those that turned up formed a team and scored: Evil elvis 78 Bagsy 67 DangerousDave 62 Fatcatsplat 52 No idea if that got us anywhere but it was an enjoyable morning, hadnt shot clays for ages so really enjoyed it!!
