The only 'distance law' i'm aware of is to be 50 FEET from the CENTRE of the highway, and only then if your shooting would cause distruption/nusicance to other highway users.

So providing the bridle way is part of the land you have permission to shoot over, you can shoot on, next to and/or over it, providing you don't cause problems for other users and your shot/rounds don't escape the area you can shoot over. :good: <Usual disclaimers apply to internet advice>

Just be aware that people could be using the bridlepath and shoot safely away from it

or worse, people on horses! Isn't that what bridle paths are for!

The only law about 'distance' is to do with shooting within 50' of a 'highway' which a bridle path is not. However there's a lot of use for that uncommon 'common sense' where shooting is concerned. Your shooting might not be 'dangerous' as such but startling/frightening someone walking/riding on the bridle path might be so ideally place warning signs at each end of the path. Due Diligence!
