adam f
How do you guys carry your kit? At the moment Ive a game bag for dead birds, a sack for my deeks, my hide kit and then another bag for ammo, food, clothing etc - it all feels a bit messy! Anyone suggest a better way of transporting my kit?

wids
Just keep it as simple as you can. I have a large camo net that I just pop everything from deeks to pack up in and role it all up nice and neat and then carry to where you are shooting - unrole - set up - job done. The pop it all back in role up and carry back to car - most the time you can also carry around 75 birds back in it - but take a couple spare bags just in case its a big haul! Need to be a strong lad I suppose to do this though!

The Essex Hunter
There are very good few ways to carry the kit as it is bulky. I use a big army bag and a good size ruck sack, but have the big bag on my back, and the ruck sack reversed on my front so to even up the weight, this is a nice platform to put the light stuff on like the poles and rotary arms, I have the gun in one hand and the other to steady the poles etc. I do not take all my ammo so when I make a trip back to get it; I take what birds I have shot back with me in the army bag. People often complain abt how much stuff weighs, this is forgotten in an instant if the birds are pilling in, and you are swinging well!
